As part of our previously announced sunset of the free Logo API, we will perform a planned 24‑hour outage on November 12, 2025. During this window, requests to logo.clearbit.com will return an error.

This step is intentional and designed to help users still relying on the service take notice and begin their migration ahead of the full sunset on December 8, 2025.

What’s Changing?

• On November 12, the Logo API will be unavailable for 24 hours.

• After December 8, 2025, the public Logo API URL will no longer be available for use.

This is a reminder that the Clearbit Logo API will be sunset on December 1, 2025.

This change affects all users, including those with active subscriptions.

What’s Changing?

• Starting September 9, 2025, the logo field in the Autocomplete API will return null.

• As of December 1, 2025, we will sunset the public Clearbit Logo API (https://logo.clearbit.com/domain). 

  • After this date, the public Logo API URL will no longer be available.

What are the alternatives?

If your product or workflow relies on logo data, you can continue accessing logos through authenticated APIs as part of a Clearbit subscription:

• Company Enrichment API

  • Retrieve logos using the logo attribute from the Company Enrichment response. 

• Name to Domain API

  • Use this API to identify company domains and access the logo field.

No significant bug fixes to note

On April 30, 2025, the Free Clearbit Platform, Weekly Visitor Report, Clearbit Connect, TAM Calculator, and Clearbit free Slack integration will be discontinued. Additionally, the Clearbit Logo API will sunset on December 1, 2025. 

Since HubSpot’s acquisition of Clearbit, our teams have been working towards a shared vision of helping our customers grow. Sunsetting our free tools allows us to develop more integrated and innovative solutions together, such as Breeze Intelligence, which was unveiled at INBOUND 2024. 

Breeze Intelligence offers features similar to Clearbit’s free tools (data enrichment, form shortening, buyer intent) and much more. You can learn more about Breeze Intelligence here. If you’re looking for a logo service, you can explore alternatives like Logo.dev.

No significant bug fixes to note

• We've made an improvement to our Audience feature. Previously, results were limited to Salesforce accounts and HubSpot companies with fewer than 50 contacts. After improving how we process Audience data, customers will see more results in their Audiences, providing a more comprehensive view.

• We resolved an issue that was impacting HubSpot Enrichment for customers utilizing Picklists, preventing the feature from functioning properly. HubSpot Enrichment now successfully processes both Tech Tag and Company Tag picklists, ensuring that the feature functions as intended for all users.

• We fixed an issue that prevented new users from being added to an existing Clearbit account.

• Some customers experienced incomplete audience results when creating audiences via CSV upload. We fixed an error in the CSV upload process to address this issue. Customers who are seeing this issue will need to re-upload the CSV file to fill in the missing results.

• Many customers encountered disconnections in their accounts’ Salesforce connectors following a mass reset of customer tokens by Salesforce.com. We addressed a Clearbit issue that was preventing some connectors from re-establishing their connection.

• We fixed a back end authentication issue that had the potential to cause enrichment errors for some customers.

• We fixed an issue that was preventing enrichment data from being written to some fields for Salesforce enrichment customers.

• Fix: We addressed issues with the Filters on the Clearbit by HubSpot Visitors page. Notably, filter criteria on this page used to combine the Filter field with the intent settings from "Manage Intent Criteria." Going forward for new accounts, the default intent criteria has been changed to "Allow any path."

• Fix: While implementing changes to enhance Audience performance, we unintentionally introduced a cutoff time frame that prevented monthly digests from functioning. This time frame setting has been corrected, and monthly digests should now be successfully delivered.

• FYI: Customers who upgraded their Clearbit accounts from a previous free tier to Clearbit by HubSpot may notice enrichment credits being incorrectly consumed. This is due to differences in how Clearbit by HubSpot handles enrichment compared to past versions. Customers transitioning between tiers can reach out to Clearbit Support for help in setting up a new account.

• Fix: We resolved an issue where Batch jobs were unable to run due to being obstructed by previous jobs that had finished with an error.

• Fix: Updated the contact us and help center links on the usage page.

• Fix: Fixed an issue with ingestion jobs getting destroyed.

• Improvement: Improved authorization process to prevent destroyed jobs reconnect.

• Fix: Resolved a problem with list enrichment for 2 customers.

• Fix: Fixed an issue preventing a customer from accessing Clearbit.

• Fix: Fixed Clearbit Capture not creating new records for a client.

• Improvement: Improved efficiency of the People tab to prevent timeouts with large lists.

• Improvement: Enhanced the functionality of domain mapping for email addresses

• Fix: Resolved an issue causing audiences to not load properly

• Improvement: Fine-tuned the required permissions for running list enrichment

• Fix: Rectified an issue preventing a customer from toggling on enrichment

• Fix: Improved location data

• Improvement: List Enrichment now limits enriching the same list to three times within an hour.

• Fix: Audiences were not loading for some customers; this issue is now fixed.

• Improvement: We have enhanced the functionality of restricted picklists. Previously, attempting to input values into a restricted picklist in HubSpot without a matching option would result in the entire field being dropped. With the update, we will now only push the values that align with the preset options.

• Improvement: Customers now have the option to prevent email addresses submitted for enrichment from being included in the Clearbit database. This can be done by activating the Community Data Opt Out feature in your Admin Account Settings page.

• Fix: We addressed an issue that prevented newly created Audiences from loading on the first try.

• Fix: We fixed a recently introduced bug that was preventing customers from setting up new forms integrations.

• Fix: Some customers experienced very long or stalled load times for Audiences, Company, or Person pages in the last couple of weeks. We addressed an issue with the underlying resources available to Audiences, and they are now processing as expected.

• Fix: Live enrichment was starting as soon as a user configured their first field mapping. It now works as intended, and users will need to toggle live enrichment on once they’re ready after configuring field mappings.

• Improvement: We've now included a warning prompt if Field Mapping types do not match between Clearbit and HubSpot CRM fields.

• Fix: Previously, only 500 lists were visible in the List Enrichment selector. We've updated the functionality to allow users to search for any HubSpot List by its name.

• Fix: We fixed an error where some account name fields were mistakenly displaying extra descriptive text in the name field.

• Fix: A few customers were experiencing incorrect data appearing in the Company Name field due to an issue in how the mapping was handled.

For our Free Clearbit account holders, Clearbit by HubSpot includes:

• Target Markets: Effortlessly uncover your market by identifying relevant companies and accounts.

• Visitors: Gain insights into your site's visitors and pinpoint those that fall within your target market.

• Lookup: Conduct one-off lookups to gather information on specific email addresses.

• HubSpot CRM Integration: Sync companies identified in your Target Markets and Visitors directly with your HubSpot CRM.

For those with Paid Clearbit accounts, you'll get even more:

• Enrichment: Access comprehensive firmographic data for companies and contacts directly within your HubSpot portal, giving you the depth of information you need to make informed decisions.

• Forms: Optimize your lead capture process with shorter forms that don't compromise on data quality, boosting your conversion rates and enriching lead information right from the start.

These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to providing a more integrated and efficient experience for our users, enabling you to leverage the full potential of Clearbit's capabilities within your HubSpot ecosystem.

No significant bug fixes this week

• Fix: Some customers experienced records that met Audience criteria not showing up in the Audience - fixing an error with the field that tracks last page view time resolved the issue.

• Fix: We resolved an issue where the Audience tab within a Company record in Audience lists was not populating. 

• Fix: We corrected an error where the Prospector ‘export to Salesforce’ function was not populating the Lead Source.

• Fix: Some customers were unable to log in to Clearbit. We fixed the problem by addressing an underlying issue related to the HubSpot sync status.

• Fix: We resolved an issue where customers could have experienced delays in synchronizing Audiences to their Google Ads account.

• Fix: We updated the Clearbit app Home Page to reflect usage information and website visitor counts correctly, or to display a dash when the account isn’t configured with an integration that will populate those fields.

• Fix: We fixed an error that was causing an “unable to sync” error message when trying to authenticate the Salesforce integration.

• Fix: We resolved an Incident where some customers may have experienced enrichment delays or delayed Audience results and deliveries for about one day.

• Fix: The “Companies in my CRM” filter was not working as intended in the Visitors page. We changed the filter to “Companies not in my CRM” and modified the behavior to work correctly.

• Fix: We addressed a UI issue that was preventing the “Run test for webhook” option from working.

• We resolved an issue that caused a short period of degraded performance in the Platform UI. 

• We fixed a bug that was preventing importing Company audiences from a CSV file.

• The Usage Details graph was hard to read because of an error in displaying labels on the x-axis. This is now fixed.

• An authentication error affecting some customers' access to Legacy Marketo and HubSpot integrations has been fixed.

• We experienced an issue over the last 10 days where some Alerts based on page view data were delayed. This issue has been resolved, and Alerts should be going out as expected.

• We addressed an issue with “Salesforce disconnected” email notifications being sent after the connection was successfully reconnected.

• Fixed a problem with Company pageviews not properly syncing to Salesforce.

• We improved the accuracy of NAICS industry values in Company records.

• Fixed a login issue where users were immediately logged out after accessing Clearbit.

• We resolved a problem preventing some customers from creating Advertising Audiences.

• We identified and addressed increased response in our Reveal API.

• We improved the Visitors CSV export feature to include adjustments based on filters.

• We made the error message clearer for free tier users when they run out of credits.

• We addressed an issue where some customers were not correctly receiving Alerts from Audiences.

• We fixed a UI error that made it difficult to set allowed referrers when setting up Forms for HubSpot.

• We resolved a problem with some field mappings not being saved for company objects within Hubspot integration.

• We've fixed a problem in the platform logs for the Marketo integration, ensuring all historical data is now included.

• Fixed a sign-in issue where admins were unable to re-issue an invite to a user.

• Users were unable to delete add audiences; resolved with a fix to the User Interface.

• Addressed an issue with incorrect credit usage appearing for paid plans.

• Fixed a short-lived issue where some users were unable to create advertising audiences.

• Response times for the Company, Discovery, Reveal, and Person APIs were elevated for a period lasting about 1 hour on Sunday evening Pacific Time. During this period, Company and Person data could have been out of date.

• Implemented a follow-up fix to the previous Audiences issue where a small number of customers were seeing a blank page for Audiences, despite the Audience having valid data.

• Fix: A recent change in Clearbit’s underlying architecture resulted in audiences pulling incomplete data. The issue is now resolved and audiences should reflect their full results.

• Fix: Corrected a problem where email addresses were mistakenly treated as case sensitive during authentication. They are now recognized as case insensitive.

• Fix: Discovered and fixed an issue with the ‘Date In Last’ and ‘Date In Next’ Selective Enrichment filters for enrichment with HubSpot.

• Fix: Authentication was failing when connecting Clearbit to the Salesforce Managed Package - this is now fixed.

• Fix: Addressed an issue with importing audience records from a CSV file.

• Fix: Removed a spurious space at the end of the type field in a small number of data fields.

• ​​Improvement: Upgraded our Salesforce integration to make API calls more efficient and effective.

• Fix: Fixed a data display issue in CSV-imported audience reports.

• Fix: Resolved accessibility problems with Batch reports.

• Fix: Addressed an issue where certain automated tasks were not being generated correctly in Salesforce.

• Improvement: Adapted our Segment integration to accommodate recent changes in Segment's Webhook destination functionality.

• Improvement: Introduced a new feature for Prospector API users, allowing them to preview results without consuming their credits.

We just released a brand new version of our tried and true Visitor Report, integrated into the Clearbit Platform and now available on-demand. The new Visitor Report will give you access to real-time company and person visitors, access to multiple timeframes, and access to much richer firmographic data on every company visiting your site. Saving the best for last - the Visitor Report is now natively integrated with Clearbit Prospector - allowing you to pull up contacts for one or multiple companies, ready to refine and download using our simple Prospector UI. Check out how it works in this video.

• Fix: Fixed issue with Slack alert notifications not getting delivered for some customers.

• Fix: Resolved a broken hyperlink on the Clearbit Tag Integrations page.

We just released a brand new version of Clearbit Prospector and integrated it into an intuitive, user-friendly interface inside the Clearbit Platform. We have almost doubled our Prospecting data set, added new roles and seniority, and have made it simple to fine-tune your search for prospects using a variety of filters, such as job title, company size, industry, and location. Ready to try it? Just look for Prospector in the Clearbit Platform application menu.

• Fix: We addressed a bug that was causing re-authentication issues with Salesforce following a disconnected integration connection.

• Fix: Fixed a broken link in the “Latest Updates” section on the application sidebar

• Fix: Updated links in the new user onboarding flow

• Improvement: We adjusted the wording of the message shown when the Slack integration is disconnected.

One less password to remember! We’ve simplified the Clearbit sign in flow while making your account more secure. We’re introducing a new sign in flow that uses “magic links.” Using a shared login? No problem - as you already know, Clearbit doesn’t charge by the seat, so everyone on the team can have their own account. Read about these changes in more detail in our Help Center article. 

• Fix: Audiences and alerts were using delayed data due to a delay in website traffic entering the Clearbit Platform. This issue was resolved with no data loss, and the data for Audiences and Alerts were brought up to date. 

• Fix: There was an interruption in the Watchlist API service that is now resolved.

• Fix: Some of our Free Tier customers received an erroneous “over quota” message. This issue is now fixed and the message will no longer appear incorrectly.

• Fix: We addressed an edge case where some customers were facing issues with Marketo forms not submitting when using form shortening with the Clearbit tag enabled. Changes have been made to allow Marketo's default field validation in this scenario, ensuring the forms can now be submitted successfully.

• Fix: People records with no associated company weren’t displaying correctly - this was happening primarily for records with personal email addresses, and is now fixed.

• Fix: Addressed an issue with the current month not showing on Usage charts for some users.

Just a few weeks ago, we told you about how we’ve harnessed the power of Large Language Models to use AI to improve coverage for several important key data attributes. Now we’re back with the great news that we’ve extended those improvements even further. We now have greater than 99% coverage for the most enriched domains on our Platform for Company Employee Count, Estimated Annual Revenue, and Geographic Location. This update reinforces our commitment to be the best in B2B data. But the story doesn’t end there - stay tuned for an upcoming update where we’ll tell you about exciting advancements around our B2B contact list data.

• Improvement: We’re updating the credit system for free Clearbit Platform accounts so you can get more done with your 500 free credits per month. Don’t have a free account yet? There’s no better time than now to sign up and experience the power of Clearbit’s data.

• Improvement: We modified the language in the Platform Account Enrichment page to more clearly explain what happens when enrichment is enabled.

We improved the discoverability of user, team, and API settings by consolidating them into a single Settings view. You can find these by going to the Clearbit Platform and selecting “Settings” from the main sidebar navigation. Usage can also be found under your team settings.

• Fix: We found an issue where last week’s free Visitor Report was missing data. Updated reports have been re-run and sent out to subscribers.

• Fix: We found and fixed a bug that showed Salesforce enrichment was stuck in the “starting sync” stage when on the back end, enrichment was actually working.

• Fix: We found a typo in the UI on the Usage page in the Clearbit Platform - that’s fixed now.

• Fix: Uploading a file for Batch processing through the dialog box was not working, though dragging and dropping the file did work. We’ve fixed this issue so both methods result in the file getting processed correctly.

• Fix: Clearbit Capture was displaying the wrong number of people for a Company Record. We found and fixed a recently-introduced issue with the filter not being properly applied.

• Fix: We fixed a problem where a dropdown menu on the Audiences page was rendered in the wrong place in the page.  

• Fix: The ActiveAt attribute was not getting populated in HubSpot records that were created after the mapping was added, despite the Clearbit back end having the relevant data. We implemented a fix that keeps this attribute in sync between the two systems.

• Fix: The “Google has been disconnected” alert message was fixed to route to the correct place to resolve the connection error.

• Improvement: Added a new set of Company tags to the Audience Builder. Previously, these tags were only accessible through an enrichment attribute or the API.

• Fix: Addressed an issue where canceled exports were erroneously deducting credits for free accounts. We've refined the logic so that credits are only consumed once the export successfully completes.

• Fix: Improved query performance for searching for an audience member by name.

We made a promise to be the best in B2B data, and our team has been hard at work doing just that. We’ve harnessed the power of Large Language Models to use AI to achieve even more improvements in our coverage of key data attributes. We now have greater than 99% coverage for the most enriched domains on our Platform for Company Description, Industry, Tags, as well as for standard industry classification frameworks like NAICS, SIC, and GICS. And we’re not done - stay tuned for huge improvements in other key attributes soon.

• Fix: Marketo forms were not submitting when specific adblockers were active. While this bug was previously fixed, an edge case caused it to resurface. Specifically, when a user copy/pasted an email and attempted to quickly submit a form on a slow connection, the form failed to submit. That edge case is now also resolved.

• Fix: We resolved an issue where Salesforce synchronization status appeared to be stuck at 75% despite the backend synchronization having completed successfully. 

• Fix: The Clearbit Created Time attribute was incorrectly being updated for records during backfills. We've now implemented a fix to ensure that this attribute is updated only when the record is initially ingested.

• Alert: Important Notice Regarding Recent AWS Outage Impact on Compliance-Related Records

  • We want to bring to your attention an important update regarding a recent AWS outage that took place on September 18th-19th, which had an impact on our services. During this outage, there were instances where Clearbit may have failed to receive and mark records from HubSpot Webhooks as Compliance Deleted in our systems. As a result of this outage, there is a possibility that Clearbit could still surface information from records that should have been marked as Compliance Deleted during that specific incident period.

  • To ensure that the Compliance Delete records are accurate and up-to-date in our system, if your organization deleted any HubSpot CRM records for compliance reasons during the outage period we strongly recommend that you provide us with a list of the associated emails and/or domains of these records. This will enable us to confirm that these records are  marked within the Clearbit ecosystem.

  • To submit records, or if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at security@clearbit.com.

• Fix: We resolved an error on the payment page for Batch processing.

• Fix: We fixed a bug that prevented deleting users from the Platform Teams page.

• Fix: We've fixed an error that led to users receiving email digests with Company records not aligned with their Salesforce Account Owner status.

• Fix: Due to a multi-region and multi-service AWS outage, we had delays in data processing between about 4:00pm Pacific Time on September 18th through about 4:00am Pacific Time on September 19th. Due to these underlying storage and network infrastructure issues, some data loss happened during the outage window. To better guard against future data loss, we have migrated part of our infrastructure to solutions with additional redundancy features and will continue to implement additional measures.

• Fix: Addressed an issue in Selective Enrichment for Marketo where the 'add condition' function in sub-grouping was not functioning as expected.

• Fix: Our UI has been updated to accurately reflect that the Marketo Integration only supports live enrichment.

• Fix: We've fixed a problem in Selective Enrichment for Marketo related to Date Type fields, ensuring they now display the correct options.

• Fix: We've fixed an issue where certain company names were being incorrectly set to the string "default."

This week, we're highlighting two significant internal enhancements aimed at improving your experience with data enrichment:

1. Real-Time Enrichment for New Records:

We understand the importance of swift data delivery for your lead routing workflows. To ensure your data is enriched in real time, we're adjusting our process. Newly created records in Salesforce will now take priority in the initial pipeline stage, while updated records will follow at longer intervals. This change will enhance the speed and efficiency of your lead routing workflows.

2. Streamlined Backfills for Enhanced Performance:

We're taking steps to prevent potential bottlenecks in data processing. To achieve this, we're limiting backfills for the integration objects in each customer’s account (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Companies, etc.) to one per 24 hours. This change will provide our system with the necessary time to completely process the original batch of data, resulting in smoother dynamic updates and backfills for everyone.

These improvements demonstrate our commitment to addressing challenges and continuously improving your experience with Platform enrichment integrations. Thank you for your ongoing support, and we're looking forward to delivering even more improvements in the future!

• Fix: Platform access was intermittently down over the course of several days; we've now mitigated this issue.

• Fix: Resolved an issue where Audience alerts were not being delivered.

• Fix: Fixed a problem with ad-blockers interfering with the Clearbit tag functionality.

• Fix: Addressed Batch processing error messages not being displayed.

• Fix: Addressed issues with managing users in the new UI “manage team” page.

• Fix: Addressed issues that were causing slow response times in the Clearbit Platform.

• Fix: Resolved a problem that resulted in elevated response times for all APIs and Enrichment backfills.

• Fix: Help Center was unavailable to some users for several hours. An issue was resolved with our vendor, and Help Center availability was restored.

• Fix: Corrected an error with missing metrics that would be visible on the Clearbit platform dashboard. The issue was caused by an error in implementing some forthcoming platform UI changes.

• Fix: We cleared a backup causing delays in certain forms of enrichment, impacting integrations including Platform Enrichment for SFDC, Hubspot, and Marketo, as well as Person API webhooks.

As part of our promise to be the best in B2B data, we've improved our coverage for employee count and revenue data for public companies and their subsidiaries by a whopping 50%!

• Alert: HubSpot added property validation rules, but has not yet provided a way to retrieve the rules via their API. We just released a new system trait to help you better understand the outcome of a record’s enrichment compared against your field mappings. This status code is designed to help you create a more effective workflow by providing a clear outcome of Clearbit's attempt to find enrichment data that matches your field mappings.

The three possible code values for Clearbit Status are:

• 200: Clearbit successfully found enrichment data corresponding to the field mappings. For example, the Company Name attribute was mapped and Clearbit successfully found data for that attribute.

• 206: While Clearbit found enrichment data, it does not match the current field mappings. Building on the previous example, Clearbit found data for a record’s Company Name attribute, but this attribute was not mapped.

• 404: Clearbit was unable to locate any enrichment data to match against the field mappings.

Using Clearbit Status provides a strategic advantage in managing your workflows. By integrating this status code as a trigger in Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo, you can streamline operations and automate specific actions effectively. This enables you to optimize your processes and make the most out of Clearbit's capabilities for your business success.
